    RECOVERY

Mindful Recovery Pensacola is a community of people using mindfulness, meditation and other practical spiritual methods to heal the suffering of addiction to substances, behaviors, patterns and programming. We are based in the Dharma and utilize a compassionate and humanistic approach to recovery and spirituality. We believe that all people have the capacity to change and move from a life of suffering in addiction to thriving in recovery.

    COMMUNITY

We provide a safe supportive space for recovery from addictions of all kinds and healing from trauma, codependency and mental health issues. There is no cost. We are donation based and volunteer supported and operate solely on the generosity of our members through the contribution of our time and funds.

    SUPPORT

I believe that now more than ever people need support to recover and heal and navigate these increasingly challenging times. Recovery can be the catalyst for profound awakening and deep healing, realizing our untapped power and potential, and discovering our purpose and passion for life. We thrive when we learn how to live mindfully and intentionally, responding with wisdom and love and compassion to ourselves and all beings.

Recovery Dharma is our core program and text. Visit RecoveryDharma.org for more info. We also have a subgroup for awareness, activism and volunteerism called Mindful Mittas. Our Sangha (community) does additional book studies like Tara Brach’s Radical Acceptance and Radical Compassion. For more info, visit TaraBrach.com. There is no cost to participate in our groups. We practice the principle of Dana (generosity), an essential part of the Buddhist path, and are fully self-supporting through the contributions of our members. All are welcome; no meditation experience is required.
